Justin Bieber fan attempts to hug her hero, gets majorly dissed instead

Things Justin Bieber does not want from you: your hat, the flag of your country, awards or a selfie. So it should come as no particular surprise that we can officially add hugs to that list.

Bieber hosted a pop up shop for his Purpose Tour merchandise at Barneys in New York City, and took some time to browse the store himself. When a fan approached him for an embrace, Biebs didn't even consider it.

Biebs curtly declines the hug with a "No." and just keeps walking, eventually stopping to admire his new collection with Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo, which includes sweatpants and leather jackets — two items that most people consider cozier than hugs from strangers.

The Justin Bieber XO Barneys collection, available online now, actually includes a hoodie emblazoned with the message, "no photos."

There's also another that reads, "I don't do photos," should you need the message reinforced.

There's also a Marilyn Manson tee, should you want to show the world you rock out to "The Dope Show" while lining Bieber's pockets in the process.

For $840, you can purchase a Bieber kilt.

Bieber remains steadfast in his efforts to maintain as healthy of an inner life as you can when you're Justin Bieber, which includes limiting interactions with fans. If his public image takes a hit as a result, Biebs thinks it's a small sacrifice for preserving his mental health.

"Less hate, more love," is the energy he's trying to put out into the universe.
