The Community Spotlight - 04/16/2016

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host. There were a smattering of news worthy events on the site worth buzzing over. Last weekend was the Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run where the Giant Bomb Community worked tirelessly to raise money for Pencils of Promise. Earlier in the week we witnessed the end of a year and a half experience with the last episode of Metal Gear Scanlon being published. While there are certainly other Metal Gear games out there, both Dan and Drew have been very public about closing the books on the feature that kept on giving great content on the site. Well, with these two bits of news item let's go ahead and tackle the site related housekeeping:

So let's move onto mindless nonsense. With PAXAMANIA set to land on the world next week a smattering of promos have been cut by various participants. Here are links to just a few of the "wonderful promos," that you can enjoy:

You asked and Somestickguy_ obliged! He's finally mashed-up Giant Bomb with Law and Order, and the end results are so good that they would make Dick Wolf proud!

VinnyVania: Rondo of Blood All Deaths Supercut (By: @mepsipax)

Mepsipax created a supercut featuring every single one of VinnyCaravella's deaths whilst playing Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Remember to wait until the very end of the video...there's a "surprise."

Read the quarter one reports summarizing his efforts on the wiki, as well as a summary on his great work from last week on his two blogs. He also produced an examination of the games that one-time Squaresoft composer Hitoshi Sakimoto worked on, and how his musical compositions enhanced said games.
